CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITY
Co-Curricular Activities :

Every student is required to take part in the various Co-curricular activities, which are meant to form character, foster team-work, promote a sense of service to one’s country and fellowmen. General Prefects and Incharges are appointed for monitoring different activities and functions. Regular games and tournaments, under the supervision of the teachers, are organised during the course of the year. The senior boys may enroll in the NCC (Air Wing, Naval Wing). The juniors may join Scout / Cubs. Literary activities like debates, dramatics, essay competition, elocution, quiz programmes etc. and out-door activities like camps, educational tours, social service camps etc. are also part and parcel of the education that we impart at St. Paul’s.

Sports and Games: Sports and games are special areas of emphasis at IAPS. The school has spacious playfields and is fully equipped to train our children in almost al disciplines of sports and games. We have play grounds for cricket, football, volleyball, basket ball, badminton, lawn tennis etc. permanent six laned race tracks is provided for various athletic disciplines. Indoor facilities are provided for table tennis, judo-karate, gymnastics and various other indoor games. The school has also trained physical training institutions and coaches who train the students according to each ones abilities and interacts. Children are encouraged to participate in various inter-classes and inter house tournaments and competitions and are also sent for district, state and national level participation.

Indoor Games : Table Tennis, Construction of a modern indoor stadium within the campus is in the pipe line.
Cultural Activities : Singing and Dancing, Dramatics, Elocution Debates, Poetry Recitals, Story Telling, Fancy Dress Competition, Celebration of religious festivals of major religions.
Other Activities: Physical Education – Yoga, Craft, Science and Social Science Projects, Scouts and Clubs, N.C.C. (air and naval wings) Picnics and executions etc. Camps and Tours the School also organises Social Service Camps and Educational Tours as routine activities. Participation in these is compulsory for all the students at least once in their School life. Besides N.C.C. and Scouts also organise camps every year.
Clubs and Cliques: The School has introduced some specialized activities targeting special groups. These are over and above, the normal curricular and co-curricular activities.
   
Bharat Scouts, Guides and Clubs: Its main activities are:
1. Interaction with the Scouts and other states.
2. Tree Plantation.
3. Helping the destitute.
4. Participation in Programme like Pulse Polio and Road Safety weeks.
5. Other socially useful work.
   
NCC Air and Naval Wings : Its main activities are:
1. Participation in various Training Programmes and Camps.
2. Tree Plantation.
3. Cleanliness Awareness Programme.
4. Participation in National Integration Camps.
   
Science Clubs: Marie Curie Science Club sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, also functions in the School with the aims of developing scientific thinking and temperament among the students.
Activities:  
1. Developing of Scientific model and projects.
2. Conducting Science exhibition and Quizes.
3. Participation in State and National Level Competitions.
4. Visits to Industrial and Research institutes.
   
The Interact clubs: The Interact club is a Wing of the Rotary Club activities :
1. Tree plantation and participation in social and community oriented activities.
2. Visiting the inmates of Central Jail and arrange cultural programme for them.
3. Helping the inmates of "Asha Dhaam" a Destitute Home near Shisharma.
   
Innovative Commerce Club : This club is mainly meant for the students of Commerce stream. The club aims at providing a platform for its members to bring to light their creative potentials.
